2nd period English: Colleen

Your next class is English. You're towards the end of a short story unit, and today is peer review day. Everyone is supposed to exchange stories with a partner to give feedback to one another.

"Hey Colleen, want to work together?" you ask the short-haired cheerleader who sits behind you. She's wearing a black tank top and black leggings and is already sweating from the heat.

"Sure, Sam," she says. Then she adds with a smile, "I think you're really going to like my story."

You hand Colleen your work, a short piece about an airline pilot and a stewardess stranded on a desert island. You remember imagining all sorts of shenanigans that the two might get into while you composed the very plain story about their failed attempts to escape and ultimate demise. You didn't let yourself even give them a last-day-on-earth fuck, though you certainly dreamed one up.

Colleen's story, on the other hand, is everything yours was too timid to be. It's a raunchy tale about a down-on-her-luck waitress trying to earn some extra cash to go to college. She manages to land a job at a high-class restaurant with multi-figure clients - and she uses her own figure to score some serious tips.

Colleen's sordid short story turns you on, but you're legitimately worried about her grade. "Colleen, this story is fucking nuts," you tell her.

"You don't like it?" she pouts. "Funny, I thought you would."

"No, it's not that," you reply hastily. "Actually, I was really into it. You're a very good writer!" She smiles. "But you can't turn this in!"

"Oh, that," Colleen grins. "Haha, you don't have to worry about Mr. Paulsen. I don't think I'm going to have any problems getting an A from him."

Colleen laughs at loud at the shocked look on your face. She hands back your story with a handwritten note: Nice story. Needs more fucking.

As you wait for the period to end, you summon the nerve to text Rebecca.

You: looking forward to seeing you in math

Rebecca: o really?

You: yeah.

R: y?

You: because i know what your wearing and its really hot

R: lol i put a shirt on stupid
