She thanks you

"Thank you," Hallie whispers as she starts to hug you. You wrap your arms around her and embrace her. Hallie quickly realizes she is only wearing underwear and gets dressed as you call the cops. After the police arrive and take Dan into custody, they sit down with you two and get an account of what happened.

"As soon as Dan showed up, he said he wanted to talk in the bedroom," Hallie starts to explain. "Then, he started trying to pull my shirt off, and eventually did. He got my pants off as well, and I started screaming for help. If Jake hadn't came in and stopped him, I have no doubt that Dan would have... **** me." Hallie hangs her head as she realizes that her relationship with Dan is over.

"I had just gotten home from work, and I was in my apartment upstairs," you tell the police. "Suddenly, I heard shouting downstairs and I went and knocked on the door. When I heard Hallie call for help, I barged in, saw Dan pinning her on the bed, and then fought him."

The police thanked your for your cooperation and drove off. Hallie looked at you with her beautiful blue eyes.

"Could you, um, stay with me for a while?" Hallie asks. "I don't really want to be alone after what happened."
