Lauren the puppet

As Lauren began her speech, Vanessa knew exactly how she wanted to start things off. Not taking her eyes off of her older sister, Vanessa silently mouthed out a few words...

"And as I look out at my fellow graduates," Lauren continued, "I can acknowledge the fact I see that... every last one of them are drooling morons with no chance of a real future!"

Almost the entire auditorium gasped in shock, and those that didn't were muttering to themselves about how they knew the speech she was giving was a phoney. Lauren clamped a hand over her mouth in shock. Why had she just say that?!

"No, no, no! That's not what I see at all!" Lauren stated with a blush, chuckling nervously as she looked around to the glaring students and dean.

As Ms. Daniels stared at the stage in slack jawed shock, Vanessa stifled a laugh. This was just too good! Maintaining eye contact once more, Vanessa silently mouthed out more words...

"W-when I look out at my fellow graduates, I can acknowledge the fact that I see hundreds of promising futures!" Lauren corrected. While it seemed like the other graduates didn't buy that statement, it did seem to have calm down the audience and the dean.

That was, until Lauren found herself loudly adding, "It's just that none of them are more promising than mine!"

The audience gasped again at this, the dean looking at the young woman in a mixture of shock and disgust. Lauren stood there, face going red in mortification. What was happening?!

Vanessa bit her lip to keep herself from laughing. This was going even better than she imagined. And this was just the beginning! She smirked as she realized that it was now time to get this show started. Keeping her eye contact, Vanessa donned a coy smirk as she mouthed out the next few words...

Lauren gulped as she tried to think of a way to fix this. She couldn't just continue the speech with half the audience angry with her and the other half thinking that she was giving the school a bad name. She had worked hard to become the valedictorian she was now!

Suddenly, Lauren soon found herself saying, with a coy smirk, "As a matter of fact, let me show you all how promising my future is..."
