"Oh, but we are not done yet," says the voice. You cannot believe it. After everything you have already gone through this psycho wants to continue. You are not sure you can take much more of this. "There is just one last thing."

"Do you promise this is the end of this?" asks Jessica through gritted teeth.

"Oh yes, defiantly," the strange goes on.

"What is it then?" you ask trying not to shout.

"You see you have a pregnant sister so you two are your proper genders again. But suppose your sister there, finds out she is pregnant and does not keep the babies? Or you decided that bringing her into this was wrong and you tell her? What will happen then?"

Jessica and you are silent and look at each other not liking where this is going.

The stranger continues, "finally deal here, if you want to keep your genders you will need to ensure Nicoline keeps the babies. Farewell." The stranger hangs up.

Stunned silence follows. After all that you still have to convince your sister to keep twins, she does not even know she has yet. How will you manage that? On the other hand, at the cost of your gender, you could alleviate your guilt for bringing your innocent sister into this. And you thought the hard choices were already over.
