Erotic films are movies with sexual themes, nudity and suggestive scenarios meant to arouse sexual desire. They depict a variety of actions, including coitus, but filmed in a classy way and without pornographic shots.

It is no surprise that JIYUU decided to produce their own erotic movies. The winning formula for this genre was hiring talented dramatic actors that were not A-listers, but were still well known among cinema aficionados.

As opposed to the B-movie vibe of JIYUU's sexploitation products, for their erotic films they opted for a more artistic approach, with more auteur-driven projects.

The first picture in their international erotic production was "Couples Therapy", based on a controversial theater play by Ariadna Pastor and directed by Tinto Brass. Several others would follow during the 2020s.
