A grand hallway

The sunbeams broke through the of the entrancem barred windows, somehow illuminating the dusky and dark entrance hall. The walls were covered with various tapestries and painting, the walls decorated with various pieces of fancy furniture, all of which was covered in a thick layer of dust. The red headed warrior could already sense something wrong with the place but the large ceilings and uneasy silence did not set well with her paranoia. She gripped her greatsword firmly, ready to pull it from it’s sheath at a moments notice.

The girl inched forward as she slowly explored the castle, trying to guess at the state and purpose of this chamber. Outside of a claw mark here, or a small, dried bloodstain there, the place was dark and abandoned. The state of the palace did not match with the rumors Christina had heard, and she knew she needed to explore this massive castle further. _There is something....or someone...here. I am sure of it. _she thought to herself. Looking around, she had a few options of where to head. At the end of the hall was a large, gold door, perhaps leading to a throne room. To her right was a massive staircase to an upper floor, and to her left was a thick wooden door that perhaps lead to the castle dungeons.
