Reposition

You retreat, not willing to risk getting contained again, and move back to the vent. She plugs in the stick, and pulls out a cell phone, messing with the screen. Reaching the vent, you start climbing up the wall, leaving slime as you pass.

You quickly reach the small rooms ceiling, and move towards her, ready to pounce on her exposed head. She pauses with the phone, and moves to the computer, navigating the screen with expert precision. She quickly finds what she was looking for, entering something into the keyboard, and pulling her phone back out. Looking over her shoulder you notice what is on her screen, a live feed of the cameras in the facility, you even recognize some of the layout from the scientist.

This starts to look bad, if they were to gain unhindered access to the cameras, then you wouldn’t be able to hide, or do anything outside of vents and bathrooms. You start to ponder your options, you can either try and jump her now, like you planned to, hoping to stop this development in its root, or you could try and make this work for you. If you were to let her share this with her team, you could then interfere with the cataract feed, possibly causing it to loop an empty feed, giving them false information about your whereabouts.
