Wait for Help...

J'onn gasped as he watched the fight ensue all the way to Bane raising you over his head. He ran towards you and yelled, "Let him go!" He double-kicked Bane's chest, forcing him to only take a step or two back, but that gave you precious seconds to act with the distraction. As Bane was about to throw you against the martian, you extend your claws and slash at the red tube behind his head. It got shredded and green liquid poured out of the wrist end of it.

Bane started feeling weaker, still holding you as he realized what you had done. "I will still break someone tonight, bat or man!" he yelled. He was just about to do it, too when J'onn came flying at Bane and socked him hard in the face. His grip loosened as he fell on his back, freeing you and having you stand beside him. J'onn came up to you, smiling at you and curling his fingers as he returned to his humanoid form.

"I never thought Bane would be that formidable," he admitted. "It is not often that I hurt my hand from a firm punch." You and he chuckle as a pool of green surrounded an **** Bane, in the street.

Afterwards, the authorities took Bane away for transport to Stonegate Penitentiary. J'onn was under the guise of the Bat again as Commissioner Gordon talked with him and you. "Where the devil have you been?! We thought Bane would've turned this block into a landfill by now." The martian may have had to read the guy's mind to know his name, if he didn't already.

"Sorry, Jim. But I can't be everywhere at once. I had other business, out of town." J'onn really seemed to know how to cool Gordon's temper while keeping up the ruse. You introduced yourself as Shadow, shaking his hand.

"Shadow..." said the commissioner softly. "Last I heard, you were a ninja, building a rep for yourself."

"And now, a proud member of the Justice League," you smiled. You all took your leave, and J'onn called for a teleport, you and he vanishing up into the sky in a light.
