The Next Morning...

Vanessa got up early as raced out the door, eager to see how she can make Lauren's life a living nightmare with these new powers! Since it was summer break, her mother didn't question her plans.

Though she did raise an eyebrow when Vanessa said good morning to her gold fish before bolting out the door.

Vanessa made her way to her car, glad to have gotten it back from the mechanics, before hoping in and speeding off towards Lauren's house. Once she arrived at her sister's neighborhood, Vanessa parked a few yards away, smiling wickedly as she saw Lauren step out of her house.

Lauren was dressed in a lime green two-piece swimsuit (which was specially tailored, unknown to Vanessa), a pair of sandals (again, specially tailored to add more height), and a pair of sunglasses. Since this was Lauren's day off, the twenty-two-year-old decided that it would be a perfect day to catch some sun, laying herself out on the lawn chair in the front yard.

Vanessa chuckled to herself as she eyed her target. Now all she needed was the right accomplice to start ruining Lauren's day... And reputation, if she was lucky.

Looking around, Vanessa saw three potential candidates. First, there was a big mastiff laying down on the porch of a nearby house. She had met this neighbor before, and knew that the dog in question was mostly a "big teddy bear", as the neighbor had described him. However, Vanessa knew that Lauren was terrified of dogs, and the idea of Lauren getting caught up a tree by a dog that just wanted to play definitely sounded hilarious in her mind.

Next, she saw a flock of pigeons next to a bench, pecking away at the ground. Thinking about it, Vanessa realized that these birds would definitely be useful in ruining Lauren's day. Taking another look at her sister's house, she noticed that Lauren had the top down on her car, meaning that they would also be useful in ruining her sister's car, too.

Finally, Vanessa spotted a skunk rooting through one of the neighbor's trash cans. This was a risky option, as it had the ability to ruin her day as well if she wasn't careful. However, if she played her cards just right, it would be Lauren who had the awful encounter.

All three sounded like great options to the start of ruining Lauren's day, but which one should she choose...?
