Of course! You reach into your satchel and pull out your telescope.

You have many fond memories of using this telescope to peep into the windows of disrobing maidens back in your childhood town of Harborvale. It had helped teach you the important pirate skill of stealth, and even the few times you failed and ended up getting caught peeping by one of those maidens, the luck the telescope seemingly brought with it made it so the maidens would respond by smiling, or blowing a kiss, or on one occasion, masturbating to climax in full sight of the naughty boy.

The truth was that the telescope was enchanted long ago by a ruthless pirate captain known for his adherence to a foreign god known as Zeophis. The pirate captain used it extensively to seduce female pirates, until he had amassed an all woman crew that would sail the high seas completely nude, plundering and capturing ships and the women aboard for the pleasure of the wicked pirate.

However unbeknownst to pirate captain , Zeophis did not grant him this gift for free, for not only was Zeophis able to see through the telescope with his own divine eye, but as someone continued to use it, Zeophis would drain their sight until the beholder could see no more. In the end the legendary captain his lost his vision. Without his sight to fuel the telescopes power, his crew broke free from its enchantment and avenged themselves of the captain, usurping his ship and all his possessions. They nearly killed the man before he somehow managed to escape using the very last of his vision before it completely vanished from him, leaving him vagrant, lost, and beaten upon the docks of Harborsvale with nothing but the ragged clothes on his back. Nothing, except the telescope.

Although he had the telescope, he could not use it, and so that is why on the day young Patchy stumbled upon a dying elderly blind beggar upon the docks of Harborvale, he was given the telescope, with the forewarning to use it wisely, lest he end up like ol Captain Blindskull.
