"We just talked about stuff," I answered and I could see my wife rolling her eyes even in the dark.

"He asked you to meet him at a cop bar at nine on a Friday night?" Talia laughed.

"Okay, we talked about Amy," I admitted.

"What about her?" Elizabeth asked.

I paused for a moment before replying. "He... um, he suspected something happened with her last weekend."

"What do you mean 'something happened with her'?" Elizabeth wondered.

"He said he noticed that she was happier."

"So he knew she got laid?" Talia asked.

"Basically," I nodded.

"What?!" my wife gasped. "How did he know?"

"He's a cop remember?"

"So you confirmed it?" she inquired.

"Yeah..."

"What?!"

"I can't lie to cop!"

"A retired cop," Talia added.

"He's still a cop," I grumbled and shot her a glance.

"Was he okay with it?" Elizabeth inquired. "I mean, you're still alive and in one piece..."

"Well, he wasn't happy with it since I'm a married man," I answered, "but I assured him I wasn't cheating on you."

"So he now thinks we're having a threesome?" she wondered.

"Kinda..."

"Kinda?" both girls said in unison.

"He asked me if I love the other girls as well and I said yes," I replied. "He suspected as much and even though he doesn't accept our group's unique relationship, he said he understands but doesn't judge."

"Is he going to tell our parents?" Elizabeth asked.

"He won't," I assured her. "He said that he's a God-fearing man but it isn't for him to judge how others love."

"That's good," she breathed a sigh of relief knowing the scandal of me having a harem of lovers would rock all of our families.

"That he he'll kill me if I hurt any of you."

"Well, just make sure he kills you after you get the two of us pregnant first," Talia joked.

"Speaking of knocking you girls up," I smirked, "since Amy and Adam are moving in this weekend, this will be our last night with the entire house to ourselves."

My wife rolled her eyes.

"Elizabeth, today is our last night to try to get pregnant this month," Talia noted.
