A Futuristic Door

The door your eyes settle on feels alien, even compared to the rest. It's made of a smooth white metal, with a couple of blue lights glowing on it. As you approach it it opens along a nearly invisible horizontal line, with a slight whoosh noise. The room beyond looks like a science fiction set, made of similar sterile white metal. Strange machinery of similar make is littered throughout the room, any display or lights on them glow a soft blue.

At the far end is a machine that dominates the wall it's attached to. It looks like something you'd see in the science fiction version of a mad scientist's laboratory. It's left and ride sides appear to be large consoles of some sort with computer screens and keypads near the top, in the middle connected both to the wall and the consoles is a chamber of sorts with a tube of opaque, light blue glass large enough to fit a person within. A panel extending from the ground next to it has a screen with the glowing imagine of a hand print on it, it seems to be some kind of hand scanner.
