Yes, a confession

James' phone started blowing up. Not from anyone, but the finance app he used. Suddenly his bank account was overdrawn, and he was over his limit on his credit card. He didn't have a huge limit, but he paid the card off at the end of every month. It was like his financial situation plummeted the second he said he could never afford a night on the town. "What the hell? That can't be right. I couldn't have been hacked, could I? I've saved some money." he said to himself. The messages on his app disappeared. He looked through his accounts. There was the little bit of money he had saved, and there was his credit card balance, just a shade over 60 bucks. Must be a system glitch or something.

He looked up from his phone, to see his friend nearly in tears. "The biggest issue in my life is that I've been living a lie," Chuck said, "I've known deep in my heart since I was like 12 that I'm not supposed to be like this. I thought maybe I was gay, but its not that. I'm not supposed to be a guy. Everything, the sports, the girlfriends, even this strip club outing, all of its just me trying to pretend that I'm something that I'm not. I look in the mirror and I hate what's looking back at me. I'm supposed to be a girl."

James was dumbstruck. He was a modern 20 year old straight guy; he may not understand everything about LGBTQ matters, but its wasn't like he was gonna suddenly beat up his friend for being ****. "Why'd you tell me this now?"

Chuck slapped his hand over his mouth, "I don't even know. I wasn't planning on saying this ever. They wouldn't let me play baseball, and my parents are, y'know, old-fashioned. I'd ruin my life if I came out, but you said if there was you could do for me, just ask, and I guess my deepest desire is..."

"Chuck, I'm not a doctor, I'm a stocking clerk at a Piggly Wiggly. If I could, I'd help you become the woman you want to be, but..."

There was a flash of light, just as a bright as his computer earlier today.

"What the fuck?" James said.

"What the actual fuck?" a new, higher pitched voice said at the same time.
