Her diary

Vanessa grinned as her fingers wrapped around Lauren’s most precious item, her diary. Vanessa didn’t even know Lauren kept a diary, but she knew if there was anything she could do to finally gain an upper hand in this story, then it would be in the diary.

She replaced Lauren’s diary with a decoy to buy her some more time and then began to read. At first, it was all useless information. Boring stuff that no one would care about. Lauren talked about her childhood and how her mom loved her over Vanessa. She bragged about how she was the favorite child.

Vanessa rolled her eyes and frowned thinking maybe this was all just a lost cause. Maybe Lauren really didn’t have any embarrassing secrets. Vanessa was about to give up entirely until she reached the last page of the diary. The diary seemed to have a hidden compartment of sorts and in it was a sheet of paper tucked in. Vanessa would’ve almost missed it if she hadn’t run her hand over the page.

Vanessa hoped whatever it was, it would be something good.

She pulled out the paper and unfolded it. And then her eyes widened. And then she smiled. She knew exactly what Lauren was hiding, but she needed a better way to truly humiliate Lauren and knock her down several pegs, but how?

She looked at Lauren who was snoring on the couch and Vanessa smiled.

Little did Lauren know, all her secrets were about be revealed!

A/N: From this point forward there can be several branches written. Vanessa now knows Lauren’s secret, but Lauren doesn’t know that. Perhaps there can be a time jump or maybe Vanessa retaliates immediately. It is up to all of you to determine that.
