He asked another Leaguer to take his post while he goes down to Earth to find you. Soon, he was teleported to the last known coordinates transmitted from your communicator. He found it lying on the ground, banged up from being tossed onto the ground. He picked it up, examined it, and then looked around. 'Shadow. Where are you?' 'Help me...' you whimpered. J'onn slowed to a stop and began honing in on where your voice was emanating from. His search brought him to a condemned building next to a gas station, and J'onn phased through the wall to find you in a corner. You held your head, trying not to lose your sanity. As you lifted your head to look up, you saw, in the Martian's place, an evil living shadow of him! "Get away!" You panicked and created a teleport sword construct.

J'onn's eyes glowed a yellow-orange color as he projected his astral form, his mind into yours... You froze in place, only lowering your arm and having your sword vanish.
