Ditch the towel.

Lauren couldn’t believe she was thinking this, but ditching the towel was probably the best option. At least she had a higher chance of finding someone to help her instead of just standing here. Still, it pained her to do this. She looked around again and saw the tropical foliage in front of her; target sighted.

Lauren looked around one last time, making sure the coast was clear. Okay, on three. I ditch the towel and make a run for the cover of the plants. Lauren let out a small whimper; she couldn’t believe she was doing this. _One…two…two and a half…two and three-quarters… _Lauren gulped. Three!

Lauren sprinted to the bushes and dove right in. She looked back to see her towel was still in the door. She was outside. Naked. In public!

Lauren looked around again, and headed forward. Truth be told, she literally had no idea where she was going. Her map was in her blue jeans. Not that I would have a place to put a map, even if I had one. Lauren thought as she traveled through the forested areas and bushes.

Suddenly, Lauren reached a clearing. She stopped just short of it, crouching in the bushes. To the right of her she saw another building. This building was apparently attached to an exhibit, judging by the amount of people gathered there. The door to said building was also slightly ajar. If she could find away to sneak past those people and enter the building, maybe she could find something to wear.

To the left of her was a picnic area, where guests ate lunches they brought because they didn’t want to pay for the zoo food. Right now, there was a woman sitting there with her three very immature seeming 18 year olds. One was whining to her mom that she didn’t get to see any animals on the train ride, and another who was guzzling down her soda. Maybe if Lauren asked nicely, the woman would give her something to wear. At this point, she’d wear anything the woman gave her.

She looked back and forth between the two options, thinking about which one sounded like the better one.
