She chooses to help the man

After a few minutes of thinking, Vanessa had made her decision. "Okay I'll help, now what the fuck do you need me to do?" The man bounced with joy. He suddenly stood up, running over to the extensive shelves in the room. He rummaged through each one, grabbing a couple pieces of paper before sitting back down again.

"Now basically, something very valuable of mine has also been stolen, and I need it back. It's being kept inside one of the attractions, just like your briefcase is in the kidz zone. Now, I've done some research and located the attraction, it's an old fashioned one. I can't go inside as if I show my face I'll be arrested on sight, do not ask why. Now take this, open it when you get to the attraction and speak it to the microphone there. I've also marked it on the carnival map here, now good luck!"

Before Vanessa could even process all of that, she was handed the map and note and ushered back outside. She tried to ask more questions but the man kept responding with "No time for anything else, get me my stuff!" He slammed the door shut. Vanessa looked at the map, and headed off to get the man's valuables back.
