A Pair of Golden Eyes

As you and your party enter you couldn't help but look at all of the different species of pokemon that you had never seen in your life! Odie gently taps your shoulders as he noticed you were straying from the group "Come now Zeke, we don't have any time to waste gazing at every pokemon you haven't seen." You nod a few times as you rub the back of your head "Ah... Sorry about that.." Odie giggles a bit as he places a hand on your head "It's ok, I won't deny the fact of the village being filled with pokemon from uncharted lands." You and Odie catch up with the others as they were at a large hut where a Girafarig comes by with a Gliscor and the rest of your party as Clyde and Ion came rushing by to Odie and hugging him tightly which caused a mixed reaction from the villagers. They started to talk about this when suddenly a loud voice calls out "Enough! Quartz, Areo, Henji why are there outsiders inside Goma Village? You know about the rules right!?" The Onix then steps froward "Elder, I thought we were not allowed to bring weak outsiders in and welcomed strong ones." The voice went silent for a moment before it boomed again "They don't look that strong to me... However... Rampardos! Step forward!" You decided to do so and a pair of golden eyes stared deep within your soul which was unnerving but you didn't want to back down despite the huge power you felt and the voice laughs "You do have potential! A desire to bring change to this chaotic world! I'll tell you what. If you can pass three trials then I will give you support by lending you one of my strongest guardians to help you in your quest. Should you fail any one of them then you will be my meal and your friends shall never leave this village..." You look back at everyone and they nod a few times knowing that they could use all the help they can get in this crisis "What is the first task?" The voice chuckled amusingly "Eager to go so soon? I like that. The first trial is the Porygon Maze! All you have to do is go into the maze under this village, get a jewel and come back alive. You must do this one alone. Have Quartz take you there once you are ready."
