Is Lucy going to take up the dare
Yes, without much persuasion
You stare at Lucy, your eyes daring her to go along with Karen’s idea, although you wonder if it was you in her position, if you would accept. Afterall, it could be anyone who walks into the corridor next.
“Ok, I’ll do it” Lucy announces suddenly, the speed of her reply suggesting she is still unsure. “But how we going to do it, I mean, we can’t just grab the first guy who walks into the corridor and drag him in here, can we?”
“Why not?” Karen asks, “There’s three of us, I’m sure one of us could watch the door.”
“But what if the next guy is some old geezer, I have some standards you know” Lucy continues with her questions. “And what if he isn’t interested?”
“First, it’s the luck of the draw girl, you take the dare, you take the consequences. And secondly” you pause, giving her a look up and down to emphasise what you are about to say, “how could anyone refuse what you are about to offer?”
“Oh Christ, I can’t believe I’m agreeing to this, but ok, let’s do it.” As she agrees to the strange deal, she starts to look around the toilets, looking for where she is about to do the deed.
