What happens next?
She eats
Cynder wanted to refuse it, but her stomach insisted otherwise. So with a few nibbles that soon turned into proper bites, Cynder worked at the ham, grudgingly admitting it was good.
What neither were aware of was the spell Ember had used not only brought out the flavor, but massively increased the calories of any food it was used on. By the time Cynder finished the ham her belly was looking a bit less concave and more rounded.
Placing her paw over her mouth, Cynder belched politely and said, "Thanks, I guess. As much as I hate to admit it, but I do feel a little better."
Ember smiled. "Anything for my new roommate."
"You know, Ember, you aren't such a bad dragon," said Cynder, a hint of a smile on her face, "Maybe I was wrong about you all these years."
"I can be really nice and caring when I want to be" said Ember, "Do you want more? Perhaps we should retire to our room. It's getting pretty late.''
And indeed it was. The sun was setting over the walls of Warfang.
