Slime mastery and building supplies

(Author's note: I am releasing this chapter a day early because I have an audition with America's Got Talent tomorrow. I highly doubt I will do well, but hey. Maybe something good will come of it. I have been feeling oddly optimistic lately. So, fingers crossed! ^.^)

Caesar let out a soft bark before nuzzling against Blair's leg. As she reached down to rub the top of his head, a look of bewilderment overtook Gina's expression. Gina tilted her head slightly while reaching out a hand and touched something in midair, resulting in two new notifications appearing in the center of Blair's vision.

Hazardous Landscape has changed ownership.

Gina Mitchell is now its current owner.

Gina has renamed this illusion barrier, Gina's Sanctuary.

You have been given permission to exit and enter at will.

Before Blair had a chance to finish reading all of that, another notification appeared.

Gina has requested to join her territory with yours.

Blair smiled before mentally hitting, 'Accept.' When she did, the area around them began to change, morphing slightly to incorporate the other illusion barriers it was now linked to. She saw the mini-map had changed as well. After expanding out her mini-map, she could see all three territories. Blair continued to gently rub the top of Caesar's head while thinking. 'I wonder if Izohra is still teaching Uggozan about gardening.' It was at this time that Gina leaned down and wrapped her arms around Blair from behind. "I can be more useful to you this way, Blair."

Blair lifted a brow. "Oh? What makes you feel this would be of use to me?" Gina nuzzled her cheek to Blair's. "I can sense your desires when I touch you. You seek power, materials, and an army. I wish to help you become truly great. I sense there is a lot of potential in you, but you need power quickly to slay your foe and reclaim what you have lost." She turned Blair's face towards hers and gently gazed into her eyes. "One face and name keeps appearing in your mind. I can sense you truly hate him for what he has done. I won't say his name, but know this. All of your pain, foes, and woes are mine too. You aren't alone in this."

Gina closed her eyes before leaning down to kiss Blair's neck gently. "I wish to help, even if it is only a little. I, I would do anything for you. I want you to rely on me as more than a lover or a sister. So long as you'll have me, I promise to never leave you, Blair." Blair chuckled as a few tears rolled down her cheeks, the memories of what Zane had done were still very fresh in her mind. However, the warmth, love, and true empathy she felt and heard from Gina was what truly moved her to tears. "Is that right?"

Blair looked to Gina as still more tears rolled down her cheeks. "How do I know you won't be taken from me? Can you sincerely promise me that you will always remember me?" Gina leaned in to gently kiss Blair's lips while lifting up a hand to gently wipe away Blair's tears. When Blair's eyes closed while kissing Gina back, images began to pour into her mind. They showed as time and time again that Gina would always remember her due to her core and would always return. So long as Gina was still alive, she would always fight to remain by Blair's side. No matter who or what she had to consume, kill, deceive, or befriend.

This intense moment felt like days as these images ran through Blair's head. These weren't simply glimpses into possibilities. As the images continued, she began to recognize a few of them as Gina had inserted herself into Blair's memories. Gina was using these situations to show the paths she would have taken to ensure the best outcome for Blair even at the cost of her own satisfaction. Gina had even taken the extra steps to not use the information later on to make things as perfect as possible. Gina and Blair would have fights too, but Gina would always do what she felt was best for Blair.

Although this was the perfect situation for Gina to gain a major advantage within Blair's heart. It was both interesting and confusing that Gina took a more realistic approach. Before Blair had more time to learn from this experience, a muffled sound of barking began to disrupt the bond between Gina and herself. As the images cleared from her mind, her senses returned, allowing her to become fully aware that they were surrounded. Caesar began growling as a few slimes were slowly sliding around them. However, unlike before, all of these slimes were friendly to Blair.

Blair looked to Gina while reaching a hand out to Caesar and gently rubbed the top of his head. "It's okay boy. They're friendly." Caesar immediately stopped growling, but began looking at Blair while tilting his head. He looked slightly confused, but her word was good enough for him. Blair lifted her other hand up to Gina's cheek. "Are these your subjects?" Gina nodded while nuzzling her cheek against Blair's hand. "They are. Um, Blair. I know I said I would never leave you, but.. I should remain here. I will need to teach them to become powerful slimes as you have taught me. I hope that will be okay."

Blair slowly ran her hand down to Gina's neck. "I suppose I have." Her eyes ran down to Gina's breasts then back up to her eyes. "Mm, does that mean you will also teach them how to please me?" She playfully smiled. Gina looked off to the side and bit her bottom lip before shaking her head. "No, pleasing you is a privilege reserved only for me. They will have to find someone else to please." Blair's hand slowly ran down to gently caress Gina's left breast. "Mm, is that right? Sounds like someone is being a little possessive. Well, good thing for you. I like that kind of thing." Gina moaned softly and moved closer to Blair.

Blair leaned in to kiss Gina's lips, locking lips with her for a few seconds before saying. "Oh, before I forget. Be sure to introduce yourself to Izohra and Uggozan. I wouldn't want them to consider you hostile." Gina nodded slightly while gazing into Blair's eyes. "Of course, I will do so after you leave, Blair." Blair moved her hand back while running her other hand along Caesar's back. "Sounds good." She looked to Caesar and gestured for him to follow her. She paused before looking back to Gina. "I should be back in an hour or two. Try to be good until then, okay?" She received a small notification saying, Gina has left the party, a mere second before Gina said. "I will. Be safe, Blair."

Blair lifted a hand and cast Exit Illusion barrier. - 10 Mp Upon doing so, the world around her and Caesar shattered into a million pieces. Seconds later, the world around her reformed into the junkyard. After a brief look around, she realized she was standing a few inches from where she had previously entered the illusion barrier. She reached down to rub the top of Caesar's head, but surprisingly he wasn't within reach. A few seconds later, she saw him sniffing the ground while making a beeline for the discarded building materials. Although a tad annoying, before she could stop him, he vanished as he had many times before.

Blair giggled to herself as she thought. 'Hmm, you're such a mischievous pup. Okay, I'll follow your lead again.' As she walked to where Caesar had vanished. She began to wonder what she might find this time. Hmm, these were discarded building materials. Perhaps she would find something logical like she had with the other illusion barriers. Although this one could be different. If she were to think logically, she would expect to find either the undead or some lowly demons. However, if she thought illogically, there was the chance that there would be abominations or some cultists instead?
