Well?
No and Yes
Reta shrugged and shook her glass for another drink. "Meh, he seems the soft type. Don't think he would suit my taste."
"The rough type, eh?"
She smirked as Nyitzcha poured her another drink. "You know it."
Janette was shaking her head. "Beggars can't be choosers Reta. What if he was the last dick for the next hundred miles?"
"Guessin' I'm going for a jog then." She bursted into a hard laugh, gripping her stomach with a very confused Kou watching them quietly. Nyitzcha was waving her hand in dismissal, a sort of sign that meant never mind, signaling him to move on.
"Well, what if I took him? You said he's free right?"
Both girls turned their heads with Reta's carrying a look of intrigue with a raised eye. "You?"
"Yes me, why do you ask with that tone?" She huffed, crossing her arms. "I could use some action too, you know?"
"Don't you share Felix now and then?"
Janette shushed her and slapped her arm. "That isn't-you know what I mean! You know what, I tried to be nice but no so fuck you, your loss." She reached in and yoinked Reta's shot away, gulping it down and slamming it. "Fuck it, I'll ride him."
Nyitzcha snorted and shook her head. "If I known ye would be arguin' for 'im, I'd of added a price instead. Kou?"
"Tell me it's urgent Nyitzcha, I'm tired." He replied, throwing his hands in the air like he don't care.
"Eh, eh, is not a job this time but sometin' else. Why don' ye show... show..." She napped her tiny fingers at Janette's face.
"Janette."
"-Janette! Why don' ye show Janette 'ere yer quarters for a while, eh?" She smiled, pushing Janette away, or trying to anyway. She got the idea and moved, approaching him as the nervousness began to settle at what she was doing. Reta whistling behind her didn't help.
"Have fun!" She bellowed from behind, with Janette lifting the middle finger behind her. Kou shrugged and parted his door open, allowing her to step in before closing it behind him. Which left only Reta and the young dwarf behind.
"Huh. Didn't think she would go for it, now I feel a bit jealous. Then again, I do like it rough so... didn't seem my type."
Nyitzcha snorted. "Kou is no gentle boy hisself, ye be surprised."
"What, did you two-?"
She waved her hand and chuckled. "Only when we celebrating, but even then when he got a woman with him, the sounds they be making gives me customers some entertainment. He's quite a lad filled with surprises, once ye get to know him."
"No shit?" She lifted her head. "Well fuck, now I definitely regret saying no. So what are you two then?"
"I be a dwarf running a business, he be a nice boy who fancies a good walk. Only been here for a while, but he pay his dues with repairs 'round 'ere. Gunna miss the lad when he leaves, but ye did not hear that from me, ay?"
Reta nodded with the dwarf now reaching for the bottle of Sake and pouring herself a glass. "So, what brings ye 'round 'ere? Don' see yer kind nearby, ye some kind of traveler yerself?"
"You can say that."
"And where would ye be headin' to?"
"You can ask that, I do so everyday." She mumbled her final few words before taking another gulp. "I don't have a clue."
"Ay, a destination without it's course will find itself burnt out soon. Nobody is without a purpose, 'less ye be a Nobody yourself. 'N I doubt I be speakin' to a ghost." She croaked. "Or any kind of monster fer that matter."
Reta smiled, that last bit felt nice to hear. She was liking this woman, she looked funny but she was very upfront with her words. "Either your honest or so full of shit that I can't smell it."
"Hahahaaaa-hahaha! Well ye certainly got the right words, I give ye that!" She smacked her chest plate in glee, pouring both of them another glass. From out the door, they could hear a flurry of hooves and wagon wheels approach them before coming to a stop. "Eh, sounds like I may be back in business soon."
"Sure does." Reta turned to greet the horde of soldiers entering the front door rather clumsily, a frantic of chatter and insults among them like men do after a full day of work.
Janette took a deep breathe as he closed the door behind her, rationalizing her actions at that moment. Maybe it was the liquid courage, or perhaps the lack of intimacy from a man since the last time Felix had taken her. In truth, she imagined it was the brief excitement of being with a stranger, someone new in her life who didn't know her then. But the tingles she held in her tummy made her doubt herself, feeling that she had grown nervous since last night. It didn't let her sleep very well, so...
"So, Janette. Fancy meeting you." He began, rubbing his nose and patting his apron. She took a closer look at him now, under the candlelight which hung beside the door. It was clear that the dirt on his face wasn't soot, but stained oil, and the goggles were far from clean as well. It was a medium sized room they were in, with a large crafting table against the wall littered with what seemed like trash and metals scraps in her eyes.
His apron looked heavy, no gloves on his hands. His hair a bit messy, but fluffy and black. His eyes, surprisingly cute, and his posture complimented his figure quite well. Not a bad pick all in all, she felt a tad bit relieved.
"Fancy meeting you too."
He nods, his hands lifting to remove his apron. "So, I don't usually go for being crude but I figure you were interested for something a little private, yea?"
Sucking in her breath, Janette nods. "Okay, so this is definitely not your first time. Ahem! A-Alright then, let's fuck."
