Cara's confession

Turning around, you see one of the twins approaching you. You cannot contain a sigh of relief, assuming she also just needs to use the restroom. However, instead she stops in front of you. She is almost trembling, the shy girl trying and failing to **** a few words past her lips.

"Do you need something... err...." You struggle to distinguish which twin she is.

"Cara," she finally squeaks, helping you out. "I, uhhh..., well, y-you are a witch hunter, right?"

"Oh, no, nothing that cool!" you giggle, blushing. It feels so weird to hear such a lofty title associated with your name. "I would call myself an adventurer or a healer, something like that. Thror and Dukash do most of the hunting part!"

"That's so amazing!" She gushes, her eyes lighting up at your words. "I... I've always, well, dreamed of doing something like that. Not that it'll ever happen, of course..." The chances of her dream's success seem to bum her out.

"Hey, don't be so sure," you comfort her, stepping a little closer. "You never know what life is going to throw at you. Until a few days ago I thought I would never be a real adventurer and Dukash quite literally scooped me up." Your smile seems to be infectious, the lithe redhead cheering up at your words. "My point is that if you want something then take every opportunity you are given to chase it! I promise you, your life does not have to be this farm if you don't want it."

"Really?" It melts your heart the way she looks at you with such admiration. You have never been looked up to before. It is... weird but nice.

"Really. You just have to work up the courage to act. I know it's hard but sometimes you just need that... leap of faith."

Your words seem to really make an impact on her, the farmer's daughter blushing a deep shade of red. However, you watch as her smile fades, her face becoming more serious. "There's something I need to tell you. It's... it's about the witch."

Oh no. While those words make your mind race, you remind yourself that you need to stay calm. "Cara, you can tell me anything. I swear I won't tell your father." You watch her once again squirm as she tries to spit it out. "I just want to help you. If you've talked to or helped the witch, I don't blame you. They are evil creatures. It's not your fault."

"Oh, no, no, it's nothing like that." Cara takes a deep breath before continuing. "My... my father told you that the witch has started to corrupt us. He thinks she, well, the witch I mean, he thinks she made us... touch ourselves. I just want you to know it wasn't the witch. We, err.... my sister and I have done that for years." Her face is totally flush with embarrassment at the confession, though you are just filled with relief.

"Oh, don't worry, I kinda already assumed that. Trust me, you didn't do anything wrong!"

"Really? But isn't... isn't it a sin?"

You know you should not get in the middle of this. The farmer is hiring you; you should not undermine his parenting. However, Cara is an adult and you cannot stand her being intimidated by such antiqued, sexist views. "Cara, I want you to listen to me, okay?" She nods, her doe eyes hanging on your every word. "There is nothing wrong with a woman pleasuring herself. Your father is a good man but I've found he has some... older views when it comes to women. Your body is yours and if you need relief you should feel free to take it."

"So there's nothing wrong with... with being..." She takes a step closer to you, her voice becoming a whisper. "Aroused?"

"Nothing at all," you reply, your voice also lowering. "I've masturbated since I was a teenager. It's natural for your body to get turned on at the thought of... well, a lot of things."

"Like what?" She asks, her voice soft and innocent.

You find yourself leaning closer to her, your lips now just inches away from her. "Like a big, tall, muscled man sweeping you off your feet. Their hands all over your body. The feel of a man's lips. Or a woman's, for that matter."

"You can... well, girls can like other girls?"

"Of course. I've even heard that a woman's touch feels better than a man's. They know just how to please you. Or so they say. I've never actually tried..."

A silence hangs in the air for a few seconds, the two of you just staring at each other. You can feel her hot breath on your lips, feel her anticipation. You are a second away from taking a 'leap of faith' when she sadly retreats a few steps.

"Thank you so much, I've... I've really learned a lot. I should probably get back though, father might be looking for me. I have... chores."

"I understand. Just remember what I said, you hear me?"

"Oh, of course. I..." She looks like she wants to say something but loses her nerve. Turning around, she scurries back to the house. You watch the cute girl until she slips through the door. You really hope you have helped her. You feel a sort of kinship with the twin. You cannot really explain it but she reminds you of yourself.

"She is such a sweet girl, but you could do better, Rosa!"

You nearly jump out of your skin. Whoever it is spoke directly into your ear, so close you can sense their presence. The voice is distinctly feminine, sultry and powerful. A sense of dread overwhelms you as you spin around, ready to confront the stranger. However, there is nobody there!

Your eyes frantically search for the source, scanning the field. The setting sun gives you enough light to see you are completely alone. However, as your eyes reach the treeline, you see that same rabbit. It is right on the edge of the forest, and such a small creature has never terrified you more.

You practically run back to the house, casting one more look behind you before hiding inside.
