You Can’t Leave Her

You can’t leave this woman in a cage with demons running loose.

“C’mon lets go!”

She scampers out behind Carrie.

“My name is Susan, thank you so much for rescuing me. I’m not sure how much more I could have taken in that amazing machine.”

“So Carrie, Susan, what were they doing to you?”

“The doctor invented a machine that alters brainwave pattern to be more like hers, when she was human. She had a corruption fetish and volunteered to give her soul to the demons in exchange for power.”

Her eyes look dreamy and she licks her lips.

Carrie interjects. “She said some people break after one treatment. The crazy thing is it hurts horribly being strapped down and treated, but when she’s done you feel good.”

Susan nods vigorously. “Part of me really wanted to stay for my next treatment. I suppose part of me still does.”

Carrie looks at you. “So, are you ok having a kinky, promiscuous, bitch as a girlfriend?”

“Carrie, we’ll find a way...”

“To do what? I’m sure more of my old personality will come back. But, the new parts aren’t ever going to just go away. They feel...normal, nice even.”

“We can talk about this later. Right now we have to get out of here.”

Carrie nods and you head out towards the security station. You curse. The guard is back. Susan sidles you to you.

She whispers in your ear. “I think there’s a staircase the other way, or I could create a distraction.”
