To meet your new roommate!

It was a stroke of chance that you happened upon an advertisement seeking a new roommate to live with them in the city. It was a total steal; the rent was incredibly cheap and the person on the other end seemed incredibly nice. The only issue was that there are no images of your new living space, so you decided to take a tour before committing. In her own words, she isn’t very good with technology.

No matter. It was only an hour’s drive away from your old digs. And you felt like taking a gander at what the city looks like anyway. You’ve never been, but you’ve heard about how beautiful it’s gothic architecture is, a holdover from the old days of holy war and great heroes. You come to a stop on the designated street corner and look around.

Are you sure this is the right place? I mean, your phone says it is...

Not to be judgemental, but this looks way out of your price range. These are the high rises at the corner of the city – this is the highest-class block of real estate in town. They poke the clouds above you and are adorned with intricate stonework and statues on every side. There’s no way that your rent payments could cover a place here. You can see through into a fancy marble floored lobby, complete with receptionist.
