Catch up to Sara.

Even though Sara is still probably upset at you, you decide to catch up with her and try talk it out. You take out your phone and text message Lisa.

Me: Hey, I just saw Sara and I'm going to talk to her.

Lisa: r u sure? she's still pissed @ u?

Me: Yeah.

Lisa: good luck! cyu soon!

With a sigh you finally leave the car with the remaining grocery bag in hand and run up to the lobby, hoping to catch up to your roommate before she gets into the elevator.

"Hey, Sara! Wait up!" you yell, seeing Sara standing in front of the elevator doors.

"What are you doing here?" she scoffs, not bothering to turn her head to look at you. "Shouldn't you be at Lisa's already?"

"I have some groceries," you reply, ignoring her apparent disdain in her voice, and lift up the plastic bag of Chinese vegetables.

"So she's going to fuck you after you cook for her?" She turns to give you a cold glare just as the elevator door opens.

You stare at her silently, unsure how to reply, and almost miss getting into the elevator with her. You want to talk it out with her but since your apartment is on the second floor the "elevator pitch" would be too short. Should you follow her back to the apartment or hit the emergency stop button?
