"Then you ask me something!" the desperation in your voice is obvious. You are trying to hold back tears trying to convince Isaac you are being genuine.

"Oh... ok... well... how about this. Last year I was dating this girl named 'Sarah' and it was going really well but I had to break it off with her because she wouldn't do something for me. I told my bro about it afterward, what was it she wouldn't do?". Isaac looks at you expectantly. He clearly still isn't buying your story and asked something so personal, he assumed YOU wouldn't have told the girl who he doesn't realize you've actually turned into.

When you finally manage to look up at him again, you see the surprise in his eyes. "That's right..." The gears are turning in his head. He looks down at you, still clearly not convinced. You still can't form any words, but for a brief moment, you feel relief, like everything is going to be alright. You wipe your tears into his shirt and take a deep breath in. His scent is comforting, masculine. It enters your nose and filters straight into your brain, calming you in a way you didn't know was possible.

"Sssshh... that's it..." Soft words in your ears give you goosebumps. A hand doing circles on your back leaves you aching. You want him to hold you like this forever.
