Mia’s 5th letter

Shortly after our 5th month separation, this 5th letter arrived. Just 1 more month and we will be reunited. I remember how eager I was for the days to pass.

Hello, darx.

I went to visit Emma the other day. Man, she has become huuuuge. I can’t believe how fast it all went. It feels like only a few days ago since she still had a flat belly. Now she’s walking around with such a bulge.

I guess it won’t take all that long anymore and then I’ll be an aunt.

With my adventurer lifestyle though, I’m afraid I won’t be around a lot to be as great an aunt as I’d like to be. But I guess, I can make up for that by being a badass sword-wielding firemagic-casting crusader aunt!

While I am happy for Emma, I am also a bit sad. She and I spend so much time training together to become an adventurer. And then, because of Fabe, her adventuring career ended before it even started. She never even got to have her ranking ceremony and find out what she would have been.

I’m sorry, I’m getting melancholic right now. I should go visit Emma again. Until next time.
