You try to claim Alex

You know it’s risky but this could be your only chance. You grab the pen slowly removing the cap. You act like you are going to write on your mom but just as the pen is about to meet her skin you lunge onto Alex knocking her to the ground. You wrestle with Alex trying to write on her skin but as the sharpie touches her skin and moves you realize with horror… the sharpie is dry.

“How stupid do you think I am” Alex chuckles as you hold her down.

“I tested you and you failed. How can we build a lasting relationship if we don’t have trust” Alex says.

“What the F is wrong with you Alex. Do you actually think a relationship can form like this” you say gesturing around the room. “Well news flash it can’t. There are a lot of ways good relationships can happen and this is not one of them” you exclaim with all of your anger boiling out.

Your mother comes over and helps you restrain Alex saying “I’m guessing the sharpie is dry”

“Yeah it is”

“Well sometimes you can still get it to work a bit why don’t you press really hard or shake it” the only way to fix… this” she says motioning towards Alex “is probably for you to claim her and **** her to be normal… gosh that sounds horrible but i think it must be done”.

“Baby! Please don't do this…” Alex cries; “I just wanted what was best for us, and I didn't want this harlot” she spits at your mom “getting in the way”.

You keep trying with the sharpie. With your mother's help it's no longer a wrestling match to try and write on her. Taking your time you are able to get it to write intermittently. Eventually you are barely able to write “Josh Gillian’s” on Alex.

“Stop moving” you command and Alex freezes in place. You slowly stand up and wait to see if Alex moves, slowly your mom joins you standing up and she takes a protective position by the door. Awkwardly you wait for a good 10 to 15 minutes too nervous to speak waiting for Alex, but she doesn’t move.
