You thumb your phone, thinking about responding to G'sly, but then slip your phone into your back pocket. No, you made your choice, you are here, and honestly just got here. There's lots of information you could obtain while here. G'sly can wait.

"Yo, Alicia!" Simone shouted from the dining room. " You missed dinner. Why were you so late? There's still some fries and half a burger left, and some hot dogs."

Simone was the only one not at the door, everyone must have finished dinner or gotten up to see what the fuss was about. Simone as you knew of her, followed the beat of her own drum.

"Who made hot dogs and burgers?" You ask, already guessing who did as you walked down to the dining room.

"Liz's Dad did." Kay answered, her voice was heavy with resentment of you.

"Oh really?" You ask as you look over at Brad.

"I'm sometimes a chef." He said proudly. He was kind of cute acting all macho.

"Well, I'll tell you what I think." You say with a playful wink towards him.

He gives you a smile and nods.

"Come on Blake I'll show you to the table!" Liz said grabbing your arm dragging you towards the dinner table that you've already been at probably for the thousandth time. You looked over at Alicia who just gave you a tongue out smile that no one else noticed. She was having a lot of fun watching you be the "new" girl with the group.

You realized as you snacked on the leftover food that it was smart of Alicia to use your original name, you never really thought of it but Blake is a boy and girl's name. It also made it easier to transition, when anyone called you by name you instantly knew it was directed at you. The girls asked simple questions while you downed a hot dog. You ate it greedily as you were quite hungry after all that's transpired.

You look at Brad and give him a smile as you playfully put the hot dog down your throat. He gives you a chuckle as he continues to finish his burger.

"Blake, do you have a boyfriend?" Liz suddenly asks you. Of course, you should have known that question would come up.
