Wander the manor.

Your wet clothes hang over the back of a seat in the corner of your room to be dealt with later. For now, you put on your set of comfy blue pajamas. It's still the middle of the day, but that doesn't matter. Anytime is a good time for pajamas. You imagine the girls will be awhile, so you decide to meander around your home for awhile. It's large enough that you still feel like you haven't seen every nook and cranny. There are vacant bedrooms too, though it may not exactly be a great idea to adopt even more people into this chaos. They're probably best left as guest rooms for the time being.

The sound of raindrops on the rooftop and against the windows is soothing. There's something special about having the entire place to yourself during this quiet, calming weather, even if it's temporary.

You lean on the kitchen windowsill and gaze out into the courtyard. Peony is singing to herself, and prancing through the grass.

Vampires... What do I know about vampires in this world? Mistress Catherine can transform into a cloud of smoke. She can also presumably create more vampires, but I'm not sure if she directly controls them or not. Damn. Everything else is from my knowledge of RPGs and books and stuff. Though, I feel like that kinda info has helped me out before. Let's see. They're usually weak in sunlight, and I haven't seen her when it wasn't night time. Also, holy water. Should I bring wooden stakes?

Peony slips and falls right onto her stomach. But she gets back up, and seems completely content despite now being covered in mud.

It needs to be Niki, Amara, Eva, and I. That's the party. But we should bring someone else too. Yin needs to stay back. Who is going to protect her and Peony though if something happens? I'm thinking Snow. Having a ninja protect a home she knows well seems smart, and she'd be the best at spotting them coming. Maybe I should leave Delphi behind too. Since Alice is a golem, maybe she'd be a perfect girl to bring. I doubt she even has blood to suck! And apparently her arm can become a crazy laser cannon, even if she has no idea how that happened. She might be a great trump card.

A couple young boys approach the front gate and peer through. When Peony notices, she wanders on over--mud still washing off her body. She bends forwards to inspect them, and they look back at her in awe.

I wish I knew where everyone else was. Vivi said she used to date her, though when she said she knew her weak points, I have a feeling she wasn't talking about in battle. I also don't know if she'd even want to be involved. If Dajy was here, it would be a battle to behold. Maybe we should try and find her. Should I keep relying on her power though? I guess she is eager to help, and I could use any help I can find.

A couple more young boys hurry up to gawk at the dryad. She looks confused.

What the... Damn perverted kids.

You hurry around to the front door and swing it open. "Hey! What are you kids doing?" you shout.

"Run!" one of them shouts, and they quickly scurry off.

You sigh and shut the door again. Leaning back, you stare up to the ceiling and continue to think.

I just want to be left alone for once. The only reason I'm hunting this vampire is she's probably hunting me. It's so unfair. Though I guess it was my fault that I lost the necklace. I just didn't know where else to keep it safe. Shit! And what if she doesn't even have it anymore? How strong is it really going to make Sa'dis, if he's apparently strong already?

Several footfalls resonate out from the staircase a room over. You turn to see the girls finally returning from the bath. Their hair is still damp, but they're dressed in sets of pajamas as well, so it seems you aren't the only one wanting some rest. Niki wears her yellow pants and button-up top with pink trim and and flowers. Amara has her short, pale pink, frilly nightgown with a band of fabric beneath her bust tied into a bow. Eva, however, wears a familiar conjured gown--Amara's magic. Though it isn't the thickest material in the world, it's better than what she usually wears to bed, which is absolutely nothing at all.

Next to her is Alice, who wears the same. Apparently she doesn't have pajamas either. But next to those matching white nightgowns are the rest of the girls who have clothing of their own. Yin has a long white shirt that nearly reaches her knees, and you have no idea if there's anything beneath it, and though her tail is hanging low now, it pushes up the back just enough to give you a peek of her bottom cheeks. Delphi has a gown more akin to lingerie, with a collar around her neck leading down to black fabric over her bust. It meets between her chest with a pink bow, and then carries onwards, open down her sides to show off the entirety of her stomach. Her bottoms are a matching pair of panties. Lastly, Snow wears a black, tight tank top cropped above her stomach, and then a pair of white and black striped pants. Though over it, she still wears a belt holding a short blade sheathed in its scabbard.

Niki stretches her arms high above her head--her pajama top, unbuttoned on the bottom, slips up her figure to expose her slim, dark midriff. Her loosely covered chest nearly pops right out. She sighs and drops them back down. "I really needed that," she says. "What a wild trip that was, huh, Kyle? You're really an interesting guy."

"I can not believe we were actually able to traverse a dream-like world," says Amara.

"With that weirdo we saw outside the city, I don't know what to think anymore," Eva speaks up. "Demon kings. Demon kings everywhere. What does the word even mean anymore? I don't know what they wanted from you, or where this other guy came from, but you gotta promise that you won't suddenly grow horns and go all demonic sadist on us."

"That would be awful," Alice mutters as she glances to the side.

"Horns?" Yin asks.

"Oh but horns aren't bad," Eva explains. "Yours are cute."

You shrug. "I'm still just Kyle. I don't know what'll happen, but I won't let whoever gave me these powers convert me to their side, whatever that side is. Though William did say he wanted Sa'dis taken down too. I guess we don't know enough."

Yin bows. "May I be excused to retrieve your clothing and begin cleaning?"

"Oh. Of course. But don't work too hard. I think we all deserve a break today."
