React to the stranger.

"We're both... from the same place!" you shout in surprise. "But how? If you're from Earth. If you're from America. Then how are you here?"

"Oh come on, Warren. I bet you've seen outstanding things here in this world, and the most odd thing of all is going to be another American? You do know this place has dragons, right? Ones that can turn into people. But here I am before you, so I must be real. And just think. How did you get here?"

"I was kidnapped. For an experiment."

He taps his nose. "So use your logic, Warren. Perhaps I have the same story."

"He's from your world?!" Niki grabs you by the shoulder. "Hey, buddy. What do you want with Kyle? You might be from this America place too, but you sure as hell sound threatening when you talk. You better not do anything weird."

"You have a lot of allies," William says.

"So what do you want from me?" you ask.

"Is it so strange to want to meet with another from Earth? It's been lonely here. You're not curious about me?"

I am. But something just feels wrong. He looks so smug, and he's here alone too. There's no way this guy isn't hiding something. Shit. I don't know what to do. I guess I have a lot of people behind me here. He couldn't take us all out, could he? I can't accept that someone in the same position as me has become that much stronger. He must just be confident we won't attack him.

"Fine. I am curious."

He steps closer, but you keep up your guard. Once close enough, he pulls his right hand from his pocket and extends it out. "Then let's meet properly."

You hesitate, but grab his hand for a shake. "Are you an adventurer too then?"

"I would say so." He slides his hand back into his coat. "But let me ask you something. Are you planning on taking down Demon King Sa'dis?"

"I wasn't really--"

"Hell yeah! One day," Niki says.

Yin steps up quietly behind you and places a hand on your shoulder. "Sa'dis... You know where I escaped from, yes, Master? I knew he was our enemy, but for you to say you will slay him. That would make me so incredibly happy. I still fear him and the Flame General very much."

"I didn't say--"

She squeezes your arm in a tight embrace--her soft pillows pressing against it.

William inspects your party closely and grins. "You're an interesting man, Warren. Well if you are, let me give you a tip. I know the names of all of his high ranking generals. If you'd like, I can tell you."
