Another trap laid for the Angels

What the rest of Angel Company didn't know was the lizard like aliens had adapted long ago to living below ground. While the Angels planned their surprise attack aboard the Persephone, the lizard creatures herded their captured prey deep into the jungle. They made no stops this time as they looped back through the thickest part of the jungle, away from the burned out area of the jungle where a strange meteor once fell from the sky. No one dared go there because strange things always seemed to happen to those who ventured there. The aliens purposely headed in that direction in hopes of drawing the remnants of Angel Company there, and off their trail.

Seven Eagles and a small band of lizards stayed behind at the burned out clearing to make sure the Angels bought their fake end around coimpletely. Besides, it might be fun to watch the effects the meteor might have on these strange armored women. Seven Eagles was a scientist, and his curiosity often got the best of him. He was also highly skilled at diverting and hiding trails. For all intents and purposes the trail of the lizard men disappeared when it reached the clearing. The Angels would surely be puzzled over this, but not soon enough to avoid the effects of the meteor.

Once their work was completed, Seven Eagles and his small band of lizard men took to the treetops to observe what strange effects would befall the armored women once they arrived on the scene. He took out the little device he had made in his laboratory, turned it on, and stuck it in his ear. With this device, he would be able to understand exactly what the females in tin cans were saying. Once he and his men were sure the Angels were no longer a threat, they would head back to the great underground city that was now their home.

Meanwhile the main group continued their march through the jungle. Kelly and the other caputured, naked Angels were surrounded by the lizard men as they made their way to their final destination. Those devices are scattered throughout our domain. There are a lot of different species who live among us. We find it advantageous to communicate with them once we bring them here."

Swift Wind looked at Kelly. "Come" he said to her. "The mating grounds are not far from here. We'll go there first."

Kelly obediently went to Swift Wind and took him by the arm as led her away from the main group. The rest of the lizard men busied themselves pairing up with the capture females. Then they too left with their pets at their sides for the mating grounds.
