SSSHHH! Your purple hide gains an ethereal sheen as your limbs grow larger. You can hear your muscles and tendons shift as your bones crack. You can feel your legs grow longer as your body is pushed upright.

Beside you, your little rag doll also changes. Its beady eyes become glossier, as its body elongates gaining more and more mass. Its thatchy skin grows harder and harder become wooden as metal spikes grow from within its body.

You grab hold of your new doll and make your way back to your little prisoner.

His body becomes tainted by the murk of the swamp, as he struggles to break free from his binds. His efforts are futile though without weapons and without aid he's unable to break free from his bindings.

Ignoring him for a bit, you imbue your doll with mana, allowing the mana to seap into the doll. You can feel your vision sharpening and your magic honing as the doll gains more and more of your mana.

The only targets in the swamp though, are critters. You send out a few bolts with renewed vigor at some of purple butterflies from before to test out your magic. One bolt gains a pink sheen and the other becomes a hard green. PTEW! PTEW! The butterfly gains a pinkish shine and starts to close within itself. Its wings grow larger and larger as its beady little head becomes pointed and larger. You can see large claws growing from the butterfly. CAW! CAW! A small raven takes it's place and flies off into the distance.

The other one that you shot the green bolt at seems to have withered away. You can see small bones on the ground, As hard smelling fumes rise from the corpse. At least you think it's a corpse.

A lesser being can also being a weak and wounded enough hero. As long as your prisoner remains weak and groggy, you should be able to transform him.
