After an hour of work, you place all the doors and barricade. You wipe off the sweat from your forehead.

"So, Edelly.." she looks at you as you call her, "why exactly are you in this city? Is it a school trip?" You assume she is Japanese, She is wearing a Japanese gym uniform right now and it was in her bag.

She nod "Going to a big mall... Riot happens... And lots of people attacking," she mumbles, sadness in her voice you can hear.

This city as you know has a lot of malls, pretty much a given that this would be now a nest with zombies. Even getting things are hard.

"Ok then, you may stay here since it is too dangerous out there." She may need to learn some weapon skills. Why do you think she would fit with a Katana though?

"But you have to follow my rules, since this is my place." She simply nod, not questioning it, though even without the Ownership you doubt she would anyway.

You brought out a marker, though not the marker you have been using to take Ownership of everything, but the one you took from the hardware store.

You wanna test if it's just the marker, or maybe you had something special.

"I want you to be 100% honest with me, and answer my question, you too Marcy," You said, so you began writing your name on her belly button with the second marker, she close her eyes and shivers from the touch of the marker.

"So she is your property?" Marcy said, not became? Edelly widen her eyes slightly and look at her stomach, as if realizing something. You simply observe and tried to test your hypothesis.

"So, I own her because of the name?" You ask.

"Hmm? Well yeah, that's how it is,"

"So it's the same as how the name in your arm," You look at her right arm that has your name, Marcy nod smiling.

"Yup, if it has your name, it's your property and you own it," Marcy said. Now then, for the final testing.

"Do I own you?" You ask Edelly, and she nod with more certainty this time.

"Ok then," You wipe off the marker with a wet towel, it's not a permanent marker. Edelly flush red at the physical contact.

"So, do I own her just like I own you?" You ask again.

"Uhh, master? I don't think that's how it work, pretty sure you would get arrested," Marcy joked,

So, it is just you? The marker isn't the thing that allows you to own things and people? This just furthers the question.

Why you exactly? What make you gain this power, or when. You pretty sure you can't own anybody by writing on their name(then again it's not like you actually tried too).
