Tossing the creature's head to the forest floor, his work done, Rend set about carving up its corpse. He divvied up portions of the meat and carapace, taking notice of its stinger. After opening up the leather pouch and taking out the sewing kit, Rend went about sewing the creature's carapace into a set of armor. Nature provides.

Unfortunately, the carapace was too damaged in their struggle, leaving the armored plating ruined. He grunted in bemusement and tossed the pieces next to their former owner’s head. He got this far without armor, he would continue without it.
