Lisa bargains for Erica’s shirt

At a red light, Lisa reached across the car for the glove compartment. Erica jumped when she saw Lisa's arm moving closer to her. "Jesus, Erica. Calm down," Lisa exclaimed as she retrieved a pack of gum and retracted her arm. Inside, it pleased her to see Erica be so jumpy, even when she hadn't made a move yet. That was about to change, however.

Lisa placed a stick of gum in her mouth and started chewing. "You want some gum?" Lisa asked. Erica shook her head in the negative. "Sure you do," Lisa egged Erica on. "It'll take the edge off." The light changed and Lisa started driving again.

Erica reached for the gum, but Lisa pulled her hand away. "Whoa! I'm not just going to give you gum for free." Erica got even more nervous in the passenger seat. "I'll give you some gum if you throw your shirt out the window," Lisa said, grinning.
