Jake grabbed his girlfriend by the shoulders and shook her. "What did you do?"

Erica straightened up from the table and smoothed out her shirt and my skirt. There was no trace of the blue goop. Her clothes weren't even wet! "Can you get them out?" she asked.

Bob came over to take a look at her. "Full absorption," he observed. "They're designed to bond with the host. We don't have a process developed yet to remove them. Sorry."

"So what now?" Erica asked. Bob and Jake shared a look with each other and then began discussing potential options with each other. "Guys?"

Nancy shot her a look filled with anger. "Bitch, I don't want to hear you talking anymore! Just shut your mouth!?"

Erica glared at her, frustrated at the situation and angry at the fact that Nancy did not believe her when she told her the truth. A retort was ready on her tongue, but when she tried to give Nancy a piece of her mind, Erica found that she could no longer open her mouth. The surprise could clearly be seen on her face and she reached her hands up to feel around her mouth. In an attempt to get the attention of Jake and Bob, Erica started to make noises with her sealed mouth.

Nancy was ecstatic! "You guys. This just might be the most amazing thing ever invented," she exclaimed.

Erica continued to make closed mouth noises, if only to express her anger and defy Nancy's order to be quiet in some way.

"What happened?" Bob asked.

"The bitch was . . ."

"Would you stop calling her a bitch?" Jake asked her.

Nancy turned and glared at her boyfriend. "The bitch was being noisy so I told her to shut up. Now she can't open her mouth."
