An Asari from Mass Effect

In the end, the choice was kind of a no-brainer. When it came to sexy aliens, Bioware had kind of cornered the market. Rubbing the coin, Tom wished, out loud, “I wish that Sarah was an Asari from Mass Effect for the next week, and that no one thought it was weird that she was an alien.” The coin heated up in his hand, and the wish took effect.

Because he hadn’t phrased it as her ‘turning into’ an Asari, but rather that she ‘was an’ Asari, there was no physical change to watch. One moment, Sarah was a human being, standing there in her normal clothes, and the next she wasn’t.

On the whole, Asari Sarah didn’t look too different from Human Sarah. Her facial features were the same, her body had the same proportions and curves. But the changes that were clearly there were enough to really make a difference. Her skin was a classic Asari bright blue, and instead of having hair, there were tentacle-shaped cartilage ridges running from her forehead to the nape of her neck.

Her clothes were different as well. Before, she’d been wearing weekend casual stuff, jeans and a worn-out T-Shirt. Now she was wearing the kind of strange skintight bodysuits that most people seemed to wear in the future of Mass Effect. Once they were both done looking her over, Tom asked his wife, “So, how are you feeling?”
