Undercover Assignment

*This thread and any branching paths will all be in the same universe. Each day will be a different under cover assignment for Glynda. The stories will stand on their own but there will be references to previous days. They'll also be numbered to make it easier to know which order they should be read in.*

Glynda scowled as she walked through the halls of Beacon. Since General Ironwoods' arrival the school has been in a constant flux of chaos. She'd had to adjust her personal and professional schedule to accommodate the new arrival of students and security, her classrooms tripled in size, and the added security made it bothersome to move about the school.

She sighed once again as she glanced down at her tablet, her schedule once again appeared pretty booked, not a lot of time for herself. Even now she was heading to a meeting with the general.

The man sent her an email explaining he needed her help with some sort of matter, the email didn't give any specifics, most of James messages never did.

She finally made it to his office and walked inside, she saw the man looking over his desk that was covered with documents. Once he heard her come in he turned around to face her with a small smile on his face.

"Thank you for coming here on such short notice." He greeted her.

"I'm very busy James teaching your students, what is this about?" She asked, her patience nonexistent.

If he seemed offended by her words he didn't show it, merely stepping away and allowing her to glance at the documents herself.

"As you know the White Fang have been an increasingly worrying problem, I've had my best people look for them, but found very little success." He began to explain showing her documents. "However, we did manage to figure out where some of them are going to be."

"You need my help arresting them?" Glynda asked, crossing her arms over her large bust.

"Not exactly," James answered, he almost seemed nervous now? "It's important we learn more about their operations and as such, we need to send someone undercover."

Glynda frowned, she'd never done undercover work, in fact since she started teaching rarely left the school for tasks of this variety.

Sensing her hesitation James pressed on. "I wouldn't be asking you of this if it weren't important, please Glynda."

She pinched her nose and sighed, it looked like she didn't have much of a choice, the safety of this school and all of Vale was on the line.

"Alright, I'll do it." She gave in.

"Thank you Glynda I know I can count on you." James thanked. "Now this operation and several others are very important, we need whatever information we can find, so you can't lose your cool in the field."

"I'm a professional Huntress James, I know how important my job is. Now, what is the first assignment?"

James smiled at her answer. "Well...."
