Corrosive slime

You are a level 10 corrosive slime on the first grinding area after the beginner boss. You die a lot from adventurers high off their big kill with their fancy new items. You are one of a few corrosive slimes in the area mixed in with the rest of the regular slimes to give a slightly better challenge. You never have any loot to drop though so luckily you are usually ignored unless you get too close.

Weapons don't do much to you and your damage skills are terrible but you do have a fantastic corrode skill that can eat away and destroy those fancy new items if they aren't paying any attention to you. You can't move very fast but every rare now and then you get the thrill of oozing over a downed adventurer to eat their precious items.

Permanently Slowed: Can not move faster than a slow walk.

Melee attack, Pseudopod Whip: 5 Damage

Melee attack, Disarm: 5% chance to disarm enemy.

Ranged attack, Goo Ball: 1 Damage

Special Abilities:

Damage Reduction Slashing: 50%

Damage Reduction Piercing: 90%

Damage Reduction Poison: 50%

Damage Weakness Fire: 300%

Lesser Corrode: Will dissolve and absorb physical items after 10 seconds of continuous contact.

Slow: Slows enemies to walking speed.

You hear a group of adventurers thundering down the castle hallway and hide yourself in a small room right before a long dead end corridor with a chest at the end of it. Maybe you can get lucky.

Sure enough the party splits and a lone cloaked and hooded figure runs past you while you hear sounds of fighting and fireballs exploding getting farther away in different directions. Don't these idiots know to never split the party?

You slowly ooze out of the room and follow the figure down the hallway.
