Erica's step-dad speaks on her behalf.

Her step-dad flinched a little seeing her crying so much. Looking around pensively, he hoped that no one would see a crying half-naked girl sitting in the middle of the airport. His check of their surroundings only confirmed what Erica had already noticed the whole time that her mom had been stripping her down. Nobody had said anything, nobody had intervened, and nobody was paying any attention to her. It made her wonder if they were all deaf and blind?

Then her step-dad stepped away from her to speak with her mother. "Dear, I agree that she deserves some form of punishment for being disrespectful, but I don't think stripping her in public is the way to go about it. What if someone wrongfully assumes we're abusing her?"

Although it looked like she was about to argue her husband's point, she took a moment to think about what he said and how the situation might look to a bystander. Huffing in both indignation and acquiescence, she focused her attention on her daughter. "Fine then. Erica, since you need to look somewhat presentable, but still need to be punished for your behavior, I will allow you to pick one of the items I've taken from you to use for cover. Just one. I will keep the other item until after the flight. Make your choice."

Erica stared at the articles of clothing that her mom was holding out. Her pants and her t-shirt. All she had to do was choose, but she was having trouble deciding.

Her t-shirt would cover her past her butt, but if she were to bend or lean over, or crouch down, her panties would come into full display, slightly flashing others. On the other hand, her jeans were tight, and wouldn't come off without a struggle, but that would leave her topless and fully exposed up top. She didn't want to risk either, but step-father and given her a chance for cover. She had to choose.
