So, all the information he has is that are some potent dark and evil stuff going down in that cave. Potentially a blood mage or a Vampire, but some other stuff is certainly present. There was no way that much of a foreboding aura could come from just a Vampire or blood magic alone. Something else had to be going on to cause this much of a presence.

“Well, I won’t learn more by just standing here thinking about it...”

With that and a sigh, Marius began creeping his way over to the cave. With every step he took, the feeling of apprehension grew worse and heavier. And when he stepped into the gusts of dark energy, he could feel the cold, foul air embracing his body and trying to push him back. The smell of blood and decay was potent at this stage, making the Rune Blade with extremely heightened senses to silently swear and cover his nose.

“This is worse than the griffin musk.”

And while he was at it, his sense of hearing was giving some information too. Mostly, the sound of...chanting? Blood magic didn’t require chanting.

“Infernal?...Possible, but even that wouldn’t cause an aura this powerful.”
