Honestly I’m surprised I didn’t see it coming. You’d think by now I’d know that the only way I can get anything done is through humiliation. That didn’t make it any better, but I should probably be more aware of it by now.
“What kind of picture?” I asked, mostly aware of what he was going to say.
“Nothing much, just one of you and your boyfriend getting a little handsy,” he said.
Nothing much my ass! He was basically asking for me to perform some light foreplay with my step-brother while he filmed. Not that he knew that about us, but at this point it would be more embarrassing to tell him. Regardless, there wasn’t much time to argue. The plane would be officially taking off pretty soon, so if we didn’t do something now we were as good as stuck here.
I started turning to Rob, intending on asking if he was ok with this, when I realized that asking would imply that I was down for it. And based on my earlier reactions, I was starting to think that maybe I was. I guess all Lisa’s torment really had me screwed up.
I guess Rob didn’t need to think about it as hard as I did, because he made the decision without even asking me.
