She abandons the Boots

There was no way I was going to get my feet free and the water was already up to my chest. There was only one chance, I'd have to loose the boots. Moving as carefully as I could, I slowly pulled my feet out of my boots, making sure not to put them on the river's floor. Once I was free I swam back to shore. That was close but the loss of my boots was going to be a problem, I could tell. At least the costume showed off my legs. I looked back to see that damn bottle floating there in the water. I had half a mind to just forget about it and get a move on but after loosing my boots, I deserved to get something.
