You come to a bridge

As I made my way down the path, I couldn’t help but notice how odd the Land of Darkness was. It was strangely quiet. No animals, no wind, not even any insects. What kid of forest was this? Walking down the path, I came to a bridge overlooking a river. Despite being a river, it didn’t appear as though the water was flowing. ON the other side, the path continued into the woods. It was so thick I couldn’t even see the path go into them. I could just cross the bridge and continue on but I noticed in the water that there was a bottle with a cork in it. It wasn’t transparent so I couldn’t see if there was anything inside. Maybe there was something in it. Should I get a move on or try to get the bottle?
