Upstairs

You figure you could try the main desk when it gets late at night and the lobby is empty. For now, you decide to find a place out of sight. You head up the steps in a hurry, never knowing if someone will open a door and see you.

At the eighth floor, you peek out into the hallway and see no one. There is a wide opening on one side of the hallway and you go to investigate. On the way, you hear a TV in one room you pass. Two people are talking in another room. Little does everyone know that a naked man is roaming the hallway.

You come upon the break in the wall that got your attention eariler and discover it is a few vending machines and an ice maker. Beside all this is a large window that overlooks the parking lot just like on every floor of the hotel. You go behind the machines and feel safe for now. You just have to wait it out until the lobby is empty late at night. You sit down behind the soft drink machine. As you are dozing, you hear a few girls talking and they are coming closer. They stop at the vending machines. You ignore their chit chat until your ears perk up when one girl says, "Hey look. Let's see if we can see our car."

The voices are moving toward the window, then you see them come into view. There are three girls in their teens. Two are blonde and one is brunette. Each of them now are cupping their hands on the window and pressing their noses to the glass. You are frozen in place and know if they turn their heads in your direction, you will hear three high pitched screams as they run away.
