Walk to the pixie village.

It's whimsically stunning, like something out of a fairy tale. The buildings are as tiny as you'd expect, like flower bulbs connected by pathways branching from up above to nearly meet the forest floor, and it's all lit up by tiny lights, though without any fire. There are many pixies here, though unlike before, they're not hidden away. Worried you'll accidentally crush something, you and your party keep your distance still.

"Welcome!" one says as she flutters on by.

"How many village like this are there?" you ask.

The same pixie turns back to you with a horrified face. "Did you just... step on Lily?!"

"What?!" you raise up your feet in panic, but then you hear the pixie cackle maniacally. "That's not funny!"

"Yes it is!"

Two pixies stand on a roof at about the level of your stomach. You look down curiously, but it doesn't seem like a happy exchange. One looks furious at the other.

The angry one places her hands on her hips. "You can't be going out to see her like that, or you could get banished!"

"I didn't..."

"You totally did. You can't fool me."

"B-But it's so much fun. You should go see her too."

"No way! You know what they've said about the Dark Fairy. She's already been banished, so there's nothing else to be done except leave her to her business, unless she tries something."

"Dark Fairy?" you ask.

The two two pixies turn to gaze up at the giant.

Instead of them replying, another flutters down nearby. "Don't worry, outsider. But if you see the Dark Fairy out in the woods, make sure you avoid her!"

As if these pixies aren't dangerous already. "Why?"

"She has strange powers that others don't. Some say she was cursed by a dark sorceress long ago, and now she herself is like a witch of the wilds. She has a home far north of here."

I wonder if she has anything to do with the high succubus' base outside the forest. As worrying as someone with the title Dark Fairy might be, I feel like we're gonna need to check this out. Things could go bad if they are working together and we just walk right past.

You wait patiently for some of the pixies to depart, and you're met with good fortune. The one that supposedly went to go see her remains. You lean down, and whisper quietly to the ashamed girl, who looks up to you curiously.

"Hey. Can I ask you about the Dark Fairy? Why was your friend so steamed?"

She pokes her fingers together. "Well, I kinda went when I wasn't supposed to, but the Dark Fairy isn't actually so bad. She isn't evil or anything. Just uhm, scary sometimes."

"Scary how?"

Her face starts to turn red. "She's very... in control."
