Tony answered the phone and it was his team mate Devon from his football club, “alright Devon everything ok” asked Tony. Devon rarely called Tony at home and he wondered what this was about. “It’s about your stag do next weekend, mate”, Devon answered in his strong Jamaican accent, “we have lined up a little game for you to play but first I need to ask Katy some questions about you, nothing too embarrassing mate” Devon laughed. “Oh, ok” replied Tony “they’ve left you to sort it out have they?, well I’ll be working until 10 on Tuesday so if you call round my house then, Katy will be at home to answer any questions”. “Ok mate, tell Katy I’ll be round at 7pm on Tuesday and tell her it is nothing to worry about, cheers mate” and with that Devon hung up the phone.
Tony went back into the bedroom to tell Katy the plans. Katy looked a little apprehensive, “you looked troubled Katy, what’s the matter? Devon is a nice guy, not like the tough guy he is on a football pitch, it won’t take long he’ll probably be gone in 20 minutes” Tony reassured her. “Look if you are not comfortable with it I’ll call him back and tell him you are busy and to come up with a different way to embarrass me on the stag do” Katy thought for a second.
