That's a relief

The defeated girl approaches you slowly, meeting you at the net with a firmer handshake than you would have expected. she raises her chin to look you in the eyes putting on a brave but slightly concerned face before asking,

“So, what is it, what do you want me to wear for a week?”

“You will find out on Monday.” You say quickly, not wanting to reveal the fact you had completely forgotten about it during the game.

You also realise you are in an interesting situation. If you played it wrongly you would just embarrass her, and she would want nothing to do with you but based on the look in her eye if you went soft with this she would think you were a pushover. Your thought process is interrupted by Scarlett in a quiet yet firm voice.

“You better make this good cause I’m gonna win the next one and you will regret it.”

Your lips curl into a cruel smile. With that comment she has given you all the permission you need to go all out you didn’t know what you were going to do yet but come Monday she was going to learn her place in this relationship (a relationship she wasn’t aware she was in yet but you would give it time).

“Oh, you are going to love it.”

At that point Flick trotted out from the clubhouse.

“Game, set, match aye? I’ll let Bec know, also have a chat with her if you are interested in playing for the number 1 spot. Honestly after watching you out there I think she would slaughter you but hey your call. Regardless training starts tomorrow morning and if this year's Bec is anything to go by pre-season is going to be really fitness heavy so get keen for that. Also, can’t wait for Monday.”

She leaves with a smile, you turn to Scarlett

“Looks like I’ll see you tomorrow,”

“Lucky you.”

You watch her walk away, shoulders slumped, looking defeated. As you walk back to your dorm your mind begins to drift to all the outfits you would like to see her model for you.
